Middle school students

　 “ 1980年 ” かなり大きめの学生服と学帽 肩から下げる紺と白の学生鞄 床屋のおやじさんに おー！いよいよ中学生か！と バリカンで頭を五分狩りにしてもらう はじめて見る自分の坊主姿は かなりショッキングだった 賃家で倉庫として使ってた部屋を 父がなんとか片付けてくれ 自分の部屋をもらったりした ベッドと勉強机に本棚が二つ そして安物のステレオを置いたら ほとんど歩く場所もなかったけれど とても嬉しくて 壁にブルース・リーのポスターを貼った 黄色に黒のラインのタイツ ヌンチャクを持ったやつさ 中学校にはもうガキ大将ではなく 不良といわれる悪たちがいて 教師はそれに対抗するために 竹刀を持ち歩いて授業をしていた 日本の景気は上向きで 世の中は少し浮かれ気味だったけど 学校の中の生存競争で なんかそれどころではなかったな それでもクラブやギター もちろん楽しいこともたくさんあった 　 　 “1980” A rather large school uniform and cap A navy and white school bag hanging from my shoulder The barber said, “Oh! You’re finally a middle school student!” He shaved my head with clippers It was quite a shock to see my hair shaved for the first time My father managed to clean up the room that was being used as a storeroom in a rented house, and I was given my own room I had a bed, a desk, two bookshelves, and a cheap stereo, and there was barely any space to walk, but I was so happy I put up a poster of Bruce Lee on the wall Yellow and black striped tights, the guy with the nunchucks In middle school, there were no longer any bullies, but bad guys called delinquents Teachers carried bamboo swords to class to fight them Japan’s economy was on the upswing, and the world was a little frivolous But the survival struggle at school was so intense that I didn’t have time for that But still, there were clubs and guitars, and of course, there were a lot of fun things to do
