There was something that I was trying to say When these mountains took my breath away In this forest we are so alone But here I feel at home In this room where our lives were forgotten We got lost under a mile of cotton Your nails drew from me a breath so pure You asked so know. I'm yours In this dried stream Where once we tread It's surface gleams now in my head From here the town bellow looks like one of a dream The edge on which we sit becomes part of this poetry When I sing I pray that you will echo To this I swear never to let go To this I swear never to let go
